deco's New CMS - Frequently Asked Questions

For four years, the deco.cx admin was where brands ran the whole storefront: copy, banners, campaigns, layout, publishing. It did its job well, and now it's being retired to make room for something new and better: the CMS inside deco Studio.
Will my site go down? Do I need to migrate in a hurry?
No. Nothing about your site changes. What's being retired is the old admin. Your content, your code, and your publishing all stay exactly as they are.
Who handles the migration?
deco does. It's gradual, team by team. Once your site has been migrated, you'll see a heads-up modal when you log in to admin.deco.cx. You don't need to do anything on your own: our team handles it closely.
What's the timeline?
Several clients are already running 100% on Studio. By the end of September, every account will be created, and the old admin will be discontinued on October 30th.
Do I need to rewrite my site in TanStack?
No. Studio is compatible with Deno, both Fresh and HTMX. Migrating to TanStack is not a requirement to use the new CMS.
What changes day to day?
Nothing you already do goes away. Writing copy, swapping banners, building campaigns, adjusting layout, publishing: it all stays the same and in the same place. What changes is that you now have new possibilities at your disposal, to use whenever and however you like. No step of your current workflow has been removed.
Will I need to train my team (or my clients)?
We're recording video material to support the transition. As soon as it's ready, we'll make it available here and on the official channels.
Do costs change?
Regular CMS usage stays at the same price. The AI agents are a new feature and are being structured separately. We'll share the pricing details as we finalize them.
I'm an agency and I manage several accounts. How do I start?
Talk to us. We'll run a training session with your team so you can serve your clients better and get the most out of Studio. The migration isn't on you: the deco team handles it.
